The Industry's Best Electronic Controls

Ecodyne Water VIP ControlVolume Initiated Programmable (VIP) Controls Set a New Standard in Commercial / Industrial Water Softener, Filter, and Dealkalizer Controls.

The Ecodyne VIP control ranks as the finest in the industry because it allows less usage of salt and water - reducing your operating costs. VIP controls only backwash your water filter when necessary - using the unique "look ahead" feature that initiates cycles based on accumulated data. If water usage varies for any reason, it automatically adjusts to recharge the system as needed.

The fully programmable, microprocessor-based VIP control offers a simple, 4-button keypad to program operating data. The control then automatically performs all the necessary calculations and determines available capacity. A built-in capacitor enables the unit to retain its memory after a short-term power loss, and its nonvolatile EEPROM memory retains all configuration and historical data, so you never lose the program.

The VIP Control is available in three models:

  • The VIP-I controls 1-2 tanks in single, parallel, or alternating mode with one meter.
  • The VIP-II controls 2-4 tanks in parallel or alternating mode with one meter.
  • The VIP-III controls 2-4 tanks in parallel or alternating mode.

*The VIP-III can move units from standby to service based on the required flow rate. When service flow increases, units are moved to service position and as requirements decrease, units are placed back in standby, known as VARIABLE DEMAND.
